If you are producing a pilot program to pitch to a network, or you’re a YouTuber planning for online presentation and distribution, odds are:
You don’t have a huge budget, but you do want a high-quality production to bring your concept to life.
The fact is, there are many studios here in “Media City”, that are equipped to handle photo shoots, music videos, or even feature films. But when it comes to producing a talk show with multi-camera setup, there aren’t many options outside of the large studios like Warner Bros and ABC, which have five-digit starting prices! On the other hand, if you want to do things independently, that requires:
1. Finding a cost-effective sound stage with standing set options.
2. Sourcing and renting the right equipment.
3. Hiring crew members with the technical skills to operate the equipment and work as a team.

Sound stressful? It is!
But here is the good news… When you use JFA Studio for your multi-camera production, you bypass all of these stressful and time-consuming steps, as JFA will take care of all the technicalities! Instead you’re able to focus on presenting your idea and delivering the content. And it won’t cost you an arm and a leg! Now you know why so many pilot programs have been produced at JFA Studio. We enjoy working alongside producers and content creators, and take pride in making your concept become a reality! Please make sure to check out our In-Studio Reel.

On top of productions in our studio, we also do a lot of corporate productions on location. This includes everything from testimonial interviews in corporate offices to full scale multi-camera live production at large venues. Please check out our On-Location Reel.

Since the pandemic began, our most on-demand service has been Live Streaming. A shoot that takes place in our studio, using a send and return feed over hi speed internet and connecting the on-camera guest in our studio to the host in a remote location.

While the use of modern technology such as laptop and cell phones with video conferencing apps like Zoom allows such communications to be achieved, there are specific live events or projects that call for way more control over every aspect of the production, from video and sound quality to the lighting, background set and the facility itself. This is where JFA shines. As a studio that for years has been connecting guests from our sound stage to national TV channels such as Fox, CNN and ABC using Fiber optic HD connection, we feel right at home now using the new digital platforms over the internet for projects that demand more than what mobile devices can offer.

Here are some of the reasons why many corporations have taken advantage of JFA's Live Streaming services:
- Professional lighting and set design
This is a key factor to any company's branding or presentation to stand out from the rest, who normally appear behind the home/office desk!
- Hi resolution 4k camera
Using pro cameras and prime lenses not only results in better picture quality for the live event, but gives you access to the original 4k footage recorded in camera for later use.
- Use of Eye View
Similar to a teleprompter, which is positioned right in front of the lens, it allows the guest to look at the display monitor seeing the host, while maintaining eye contact with the audience.
- Multiple cameras
The ability to live stream multi-camera production and switching between different camera angles.
- Professional Audio gear and routing
Use of studio quality mic, in-ear monitor and industry standard sound board, creating different mixes, and having full control over every incoming and outgoing signal.
- The Facility
Using a state of the art production facility, with sound proof stage, make-up room, control room and dedicated parking for the guests, PR and the executive team who need to be present for the live show.
- IFB or Private Line
This communication channel enables a person in our control room to privately speak to the guest who is on camera in our stage (through in-ear monitor) without being heard on live streaming. In particular scenarios this could be very handy, such as when a guest is relying on his/her colleague’s help for specific information!
- Inserts and B-Rolls
The ability to fade in and out, insert titles, lower thirds and overlays during the presentation as well as cutting to B-Rolls.
- We film locally, client oversees remotely
When a production company outside CA, wants to save time and overhead costs of travelling, yet film a “pre-recorded” interview with thier talent in Burbank, CA, then JFA handles the full aspect of the production, while the client oversees the process through Live Streaming. This approach has been a life savior for multiple out of state major networks, in particular during pandemic and travelling restrictions.

With hundreds of live broadcasting and streaming done over a decade, JFA studio has proven to have the manpower, expertise and the tools to make it a seamless experience!
